The IERCD Sustainable Agriculture team is committed to supporting conservation practices in the Inland Empire’s agricultural community. Our programs seek to build healthier soil, strengthen agricultural businesses while conserving natural resources, support spaces for gardening, and increase public awareness of the importance of prioritizing and preserving sustainable agriculture. Community Gardens and Urban Farms are excellent opportunities to implement regenerative agriculture and offer direct community benefits. Whether you are new to gardening or have had many seasons in
the soil, we are committed to supporting your project or helping you plant an idea of how to start your project.

The Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation (SALC) project is a two-year planning grant funded by the California Department of Conservation with Cap-and-Trade proceeds. The project is managed by the Local Agency Formation Commission for San Bernardino County (LAFCO) in partnership with the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District (IERCD). Read more here.
