Nicolson Farms is a small urban farmer who has served the city of Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding cities in the Inland Empire for 38 years. Strawberries, the major crop grown, are available to the community through their farm stand. Through this program's funding, they were able to purchase a refrigeration unit to be used to store freshly harvested strawberries at optimal temperatures, preserving their quality, flavor, and nutritional profile.
