Integrative Development Institute (IDI)

IDI's project was composed of 3 components; supporting with site development, offering learning resources to community farmers, and the development of shared resources libraries. With the funding from this program they were able to support the Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice (CCAEJ) with the development of their site, such as the installation of a pest exclusion fence, the rebuilding of their garden, and the development of their food forest. IDI was also able to offer learning opportunities to community farmers and gardener across the IE, through hosting monthly farmer circles, workshops, and building resource sharing hubs.  Lastly, with the funds from this program, IDI was able to develop a shared resource library to provide community accessible urban agriculture resources like tools, seeds, irrigation supplies, and equipment.
