The Jardin de la Salud is a thriving community garden dedicated to addressing food insecurity, promoting education, and fostering community engagement for low-income and disadvantaged populations. The funds from this program were used to build an outdoor kitchen will transform the garden into a dynamic learning space, enabling cooking demonstrations and food preservation workshops that highlight the value of fresh produce grown on-site. Funding was also used to improve irrigation systems to ensure more efficient and sustainable water use, enhancing the garden’s ability to produce healthy crops.
