Climate X-Change

The IERCD's Climate X-Change Program introduces students to the complex topic of Climate Change. Throughout this presentation, students will gain an understanding of what Climate Change entails through observation of scientific data collected over time. Analogies will be used to illustrate the impact of gasses trapped in the atmosphere. We will explore some of the local effects of this global phenomenon, along with the efforts of the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District to raise awareness and mitigate the effects of our changing climate. Students will learn that anyone can adopt eco-friendly practices, even if they're not affiliated with an RCD.
