El Dorado Community Planting Day
Help habitat take root! Join the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District (IERCD) for a morning of native planting and habitat restoration at El Dorado Ranch Park.
Following the 2020 El Dorado Fire, IERCD and its partners have been working to restore native vegetation and improve habitat for local wildlife. Now, we're inviting community members to lend a hand!
Volunteers will help plant native species that provide food and habitat for monarch butterflies, other pollinators, and wildlife. Along the way, you'll learn about the plants and animals that call this area home and how restoration helps ecosystems recover after wildfire.
No experience necessary! All tools, supplies, and planting instructions will be provided.
